Upmarket hotel bar popular with the upper-middle class pashmina and football pundit shirt brigade. Recently decorated and is a cross between Scandi sparse and modern plush. Vaulted cellar of passing interest. No cask and half the draft off, Cotswold Lakes Pale on keg had to do, fizzy and fairly insipid it was. Friendly service at least and I think the barman quite enjoyed me being a rarely-seen normal punter.

The Kings Head is a large looking pub in the middle of Cirencester.
The pub entrance is down an alley to the right of the main building once inside i went in a nice and well furnished room but sadly there were no real ales on here with the only bitter being John Smith smooth so i had a Guinness.
Pub visited 3 August 2002.
