Award winning pub that’s worth seeking out. Quite a plain interior with a central horseshoe bar serving 7 real ales and 3 ciders.

Always worth a visit. If you're into real ale, then this pub is a must.

A true back street gem, with a great selection of ales that were flying across the bar. The bar itself was unusual, as it was horseshoe shaped and was positioned towards the rear of the pub protruding out from the left hand wall. The bar area was also original and was finished in mahogany. 8 pumps all in use on our Friday night visit, I immediately went for the Bristol Beer Factory Nova, which ran out very quickly, I also tried the Arbour Shangri La, which slipped down a treat. The staff and fellow drinkers were all friendly and welcoming. It's an excellent pub, that should be on everyone's hitlist.
