This is a fairly new (Summer 2011) JDW set at the bottom of a bland office block or some similar thing. Apparently it was once a nightclub, so given that they haven't done too bad a job with it. It was relatively quiet on my Thursday afternoon visit.
There are only eight hand pumps which for a place this size is a bit on the low side. At least they were all in use without any doubling up. On offer were the two GK beers, Doom Bore a cider, Lymestone Stone Cutter, Tring Ramscoat, JW Lees Victory, and Celt Experience Dark Age. I went for the Lees Victory (£1.99) which was on the cold side even for me but fine apart from that. It's GBG 2015 listed.

Will Larter left this review about The London Hatter (JD Wetherspoon)

Taking its name from the Londoner who built the first hat factory in Luton in the early 19th century, this Spoons conversion makes the best use it can of the unpromising building that houses it. The first set of four hand pumps had guest ales on, the second four having Greene King Abbot, Ruddles and Old Rosie cider. My notes made at the time of my visit read "not bad for a Spoons", which is praise indeed.
