Decent looking McMullens country pub that hasn’t fallen to the Ikea style makeover that has been afflicting a lot of MK outlets. Still retains a bit more of a traditional feel and supports a local darts team and has music nights once a month.
In several seated sections internally around the main bar area, the usual Mac offerings of Country , AK and Cask Ale were on and although we didn’t eat, there was a decent looking standard pub grub menu available.
This was allegedly Ray Winston’s local as he used to live locally. Not sure if he still does and he certainly wasn’t in on this Sunday Lunchtime.

Large village pub selling McMullens beers. This pub is in a very nice village which seems a million miles away from the concrete jungle that is Harlow yet is only a 10 minute bus journey or a 4 minute train journey and is well worth the 5 minute walk from the railway station.
