Bucking Fastard left this review about The Swan Inn
Quite substantial pub on a corner in mock tudor, food is the main driver. To the right of the entrance the modest lounge opens onto a lower restaurant with an upright piano, chintzy wallpaper and all tables set for dining. It is possible to walk around the island bar into the public bar,but here the furniture is upholstered uprights and sofas,so somewhere to relax with a drink but no place for flatcaps or whippets.
I was in for lunch and a very good seafood platter was served up,the menu was varied including a roast on Sunday, while the specials included more fish and other intriguing choices. The real ale offering of Old Speckled Hen and Hogs Back TEA was less inspiring but in reality this is more a place to eat than sup ale by the gallon.
