Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about White Hart

Attractive Tudorbethan village pub, although the small Covid-era marquee across the frontage rather detracts (but I understand that needs must). The opened-out L-shaped interior has been refurbished, semi-traditionally for the front bar but in a more modern style for the side seating / dining area. Log-burners adding warmth on a cold winter's day. As a Greene King house, it was no surprise to find Yardbird and Abbot on the bank of six handpumps, along with the ubiquitous Harvey's (£4.40) and a reversed Rosie's Pig cider clip.

Steve C left this review about The White Hart

The White Hart is a Greene King establishment that has advertised live music at weekends and a late license every night. There are some picnic tables on the forecourt and there is also a small garden out the back. Sky Sports is advertised and there is a plasma screen at either end of this L shaped pub. Two of the hand pumps on the bar are unused leaving GK IPA as the only ale option alongside some standard draught products. Pub Grub is served from midday until 14:00 every day except Sunday when roasts are served until 15:00. I had a little scan of the menu and the most expensive thing on it was a steak pie for £7. A quiz is advertised for every Sunday from 20:30 and to the left of the bar is a pool table and a couple of dartboards. The jukebox was playing some random songs that in the whole weren’t that bad on the ears.

I found the service to be polite and the woman on duty was apologetic when the pub dog went for me. This is the sport and music pub of the area and as such would be my choice for an evening beer, but in the afternoon there are better in either direction up the high street.
