Steve C left this review about Bull Inn

To the visible surprise of, who I assumed to be, the landlady I visited the Bull Inn just after 17:00 on Monday afternoon this week. I found a long thin bar with seating to the left and tables set for dining to the right. More dining space is found to the right rear where there is access to the beer garden. This garden is well kept with a picnic table covered lawn and a covered decked area for smokers. There is also a children’s slide and some parking.

Back inside the pub I noted the presence of a dartboard case on the wall, but there were two large dining tables on the oche that would not have been easy to move. Maybe there is not a board in the case. I didn’t spot any televisions, but there was some low background music playing.

The bar supports standard draught products and four hand pumps. One hand pump was unused, two were drawing Master Brew and the last was drawing Spitfire. I went for a pint of Fosters that set me back £4.

This is a reasonable pub, but its location, seemingly in no-man’s land, between Bexhill and St Leonards Railway Stations means that it is not the easiest to get to. Maybe if I was driving in the area with the family I would consider popping in for a bite to eat.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bull Inn

Traditional Shepherd Neame pub with a reasonable beer garden out back away from the main road traffic. Three of the four handpumps in use, including an excellent pint of Kent's Best. Recommended.
