Short session in Brighton this second half of afternoon. Made a point of trekking here even though I could knock a couple off in quick session in the time getting here. As noted below single room bar on a corner not too far from what I presume is the main Brighton cop shop! Not that big so could imagine this venue gets a bit crowded at busy times. Some seating outside on the pavement but happy being away from the sun today.
There were five beers on hand pump, two from Brighton Bier (South Coast and West Pier) accompanied by Sonoma from Track, Missing Flux from Downlands and a Dark Mild from Left Handed Giant. I had a pint of the latter and it was really decent.
Loads of keg choices dispensed from the tap wall behind the bar or a number of the German beers from the oversized contraptions on the bar. As well as a great range of craft there were a couple of Belgian beers (Chouffe and the Cherry version) plus Fruli that I was solely tempted by on a hot afternoon. Brighton Bier obviously had a number of their keg offerings. I stayed to mop up a light pale ale called High Hills which was a Track & Rivington collaboration. A fridge in the rear corner for take-aways.
I thought this was a good example of this type of venue. Happy being here when it was less busy and a pleasant music sound track at a reasonable volume to enjoy some good beers to. Need to work out where’s next!

A beer forward pub,an opened out single room with a rather dull black/grey colour scheme, five handpumps dispensing Salopian Time Machine, Downlands Best, Brighton Bier Niamh, South Coast IPA and Slacking Hard which wasn't in the greatest of shape, a recurring problem with this brewery in my experience.The pub is card only and ok but I shall probably avoid their own beers in the future.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Brighton Bierhaus
Perhaps the main Brighton Bier outlet, housed in a corner pub but given a gothic all-black makeover externally. The interior, though, is looks much more like a traditional alehouse in both the bar and side seating area. Four of their own beers, including Spaceman session Pale (£4.50), plus Wild Child from Humble Beginnings on the five handpumps. Also has a great selection of German, Belgian and other interesting beers from the 14 keg taps on the bar back and another seven on the counter. Understandably busy when I called in.
