Tucked away in a backstreet. 1 real ale served from a horseshoe shaped bar. A great selection of show posters (some blasts from the past) decorate the walls.

The Queensbury Arms claims to be the smallest pub in Brighton and after my visit on Monday evening I have no reason to doubt this. There is a small front and back bar and I think that more than thirty people would make this place heave at the seams. The walls are adorned with old theatre posters and the atmosphere was such that I wouldn’t have been surprised if I’d bumped into Russell Grant. The bar has a few standard draught products and the sole hand pump was drawing Greene King IPA. There is no television that I saw, but there was some low background music playing.
A couple of blue plaques on the front wall as well as a large sign on the side of the pub refer to the previous name as the Hole in the Wall.

With just a handful of people present this place is a comfortable little pub, but I’m not a ‘theatrical’ person at all so this is not an ideal venue.

Interesting little place that has the air of a theatre Green Room. Plush decor with low lighting and walls are covered in old theatre posters and photos. You should visit if only for novelty value. It's not easy to find but is located near the front behind the Hilton hotel. A plaque outside shows it's alternative name The Hole in the Wall.
