This pub was known as the Cricketers Arms before changing its name to Little Cricks about five years ago. It was closed for quite some time before being given its present moniker of The Midway. It is a very basic boozer with a bar area at the front and pool table to the rear. There are a couple of steps down to a small right hand room that houses a couple of tables and a dartboard. There is a plasma screen in the bar area that was showing a football match via Sky Sports to a handful of regulars during my recent midweek evening visit. The service was friendly and the bar is stocked with standard draught products. There is a garden out the back with some decking and a covered area.
This is a lad’s local and I wasn’t made to feel unwelcome at any point, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink here again.
