Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Shakespeare Hotel
This hotel's so-called 'Gastro Bar' is open to non-residents. It is housed in a small room with some functional modern furniture, and looks like it can be extended into a larger adjacent room if a sliding screen is pulled back. There is also a restaurant (which was temporarily closed for use as a polling station when I visited). No real ale, but there is a reasonable selection of bottled beers in the fridge (e.g. Wadworth Henry's IPA at £3.10).
