The exterior of this end terraced pub is of undressed stone, with cream brick around the windows. The was a beer patio
The interior is open plan but on two levels, with white texture wallpaper as the main decor. There was Sky TV, pool and darts. The service was fine and the clientele more mature. There were a few sporting trophies as decoratation, as well as other ephemera.
Beer; usual tap stuff, with Otter Ale, Bitter, Amber and Head on handpull, i had the Head as i hadnt seen it before, but it wasnt to my taste
Yes, i would happily try this place again, especially as it was a swift visit this time.

The pub is great fun, the prices are extremely reasonable and has house doubles which is rare in this town. good outside area and pool table.

The Nags Head is about 10 minuites walk uphill from the sea front but i thought it was worth it.
The pub looked really nice from the outside with lots of hanging baskets, once inside there was a drinking area and also a dining area this was very quiet on my visit.
There were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Quay Sark Lark which was a very nice drink the other beers were Ridleys IPA and Greene King Abbot.
I thought this was a decent enough pub to have a few drinks in.
Pub visited 23 August 2000.
