The only pub - a gastro one at that - in the pleasant village of Cardington, just outside Bedford. L-shaped internally, with both far reaches of the L set out for diners, there is at least a small drinking area in front of the bar. Sharp's Doom Bar, Marston's Pedigree and Purity Mad Goose was the three ale line-up on my visit, although I didn't partake on this occasion.
