Komakino . left this review about The Jolly Coopers

A cutesy Charles Wells pub situated in a village between Bedford and Luton. U-shaped if entering from the front, with a smaller area being to the left and larger to the right; there's also a dining area bit out back in an extended area. Nice flagstoned floor, original brickwork and some of the beams look to have been around for a bit too. Beer garden and car park out back, pub grub plus menu (Swordfish Steak and Minted Lamb & Chestnut Hot Pot along with good old Ham, Egg & Chips - mains between £9.95 and £18.50) served pretty much all day everyday and three ale line-up: CW Eagle IPA, Marston's Pedigree and Wainwright Golden along with Weston's Rosie's Pig Raspberry (with cucumber) real cider. £3.60 for the Eagle and very good (the other two would have been £3.95). A solid boozer in some ways and the locals seemed friendly enough. Look out for the photos of a gurning man and a young Tom Jones raising a glass if you get a chance to visit.
