A traditional town pub just off the main drag. There is a paved garden at the back, and there are a couple of seats at the front on the wide footpath. There is a single main bar, small and crowded, though there is space behind next to an open skittle alley. The young bar staff were friendly and cheerful, the customers were a mixed bag from across the local demography. Three ales on were Bowman Swift One, Blackjack Pub Ale and Mosaic Pale Ale, and there was a fourth one that we couldn't identify. Keg options were Jaipur and Steeplechase, plus there were a couple of ciders. The cask ale was in excellent condition, their GBG entry being well deserved. This was an enjoyable experience, a definite for a return visit.

Tidy GBG 2023 pub, a little walk out of the main town.
Smallish front room - occupied by locals and families. A huge skittle alley behind, on the way to the loos.
Saltaire Bitter in perfect condition.
Three pubs visited in Bridport, all very good. Excellent.

This is a smallish pub and the only pub left on south street.
The Woodman is a Free house and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of London Pride which was'nt that good the other beers were Greene King Abbot and Bass.
