Komakino . left this review about The Dog & Badger

A cutesy Charlie Wells pub in this semi-rural village, with a neat front garden with hanging baskets a welcome site. A clean, orderly interior sees an entrance-facing bar serving a squarish bar area with dark-wooded standard tables and chairs and part-carpeted, part bare-boarded flooring. A modern fireplace occupies the middle of the left-hand wall with an older counterpart to the right, bisecting a sunken area with further fireplace against its right-hand wall and more standard tables and chairs, some set out for dining, some clear. A dining area is located to the right and beyond the bar. Smattering of rugby paraphernalia on the walls along with some old photographs of the pub and village. Just Young's London Gold and CW Eagle IPA on tap (a third pump was unclipped), the latter £3.80 a pint and OK. A small board to the left of the bar proclaimed no workboots or soiled clothing and stated that bad language would not be tolerated. Hear-hear. More plusses and minuses with this one, so a 6 is the way to go.
