E TA left this review about The Baker Arms

A village pub in a Georgian building first licensed in the 1850s with a single large bar set on the main road through the village making parking difficult. One end of the bar is carpeted and has a woodburner, the other end has a vinyl floor and is more a public bar with pool table and 2 dartboards. There is a garden at the back, although the locals seem to prefer smoking on the road by the main door. Locals and staff were slightly unwelcoming, while the pub dog was apathetic. There is an annoying jukebox. There were three ales on, I had the 6X which was well kept and served at the right temperature. It's picturesque, the beer is good, and there is free wifi, so if it were a bit friendlier it would be an excellent place to spend the evening.
