E TA left this review about The Knapp Inn

As described below, this traditional local pub has all the usual facilities you might expect in a local – dart board, pool table, pub cat, open fire, TV screens and WiFi. There is a small terraced garden at the back. They host live bands throughout the year. They do basic, good value food, and there are two real ales on, Tribute and GK IP, both in good condition, plus 2 ciders. There was a friendly feel to the pub, and we felt welcomed, but it was still nonetheless focused on its regulars, and it did feel a bit like an old people’s home. The beer wasn’t exciting, but it was at least drinkable, and while it’s not a destination of choice, I wouldn’t be averse to dropping in again for a pint some time.

The Knapp Inn is just away from the middle of Beaminster on the road going towards Stoke Abbot.
This is a decent looking pub that is a free house, once inside here there was one room which had a lower level with a pool table in it the pub was fairly smart and carpeted there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Theakston best which was ok the other beer was GK Abbot.
