The much-publicised 'first Spoons in a holiday park' which, bizarrely, feels just like a Spoons in a holiday park. Located in the "entertainment centre" in the former bar, it is basically one very large almost-rectangular room with serried ranks of tables and no real attempt to divide it up. Decor is fairly standard Wetherspoons with the familiar touches of coffee machine etc., and there is a vast terraced area outside. Ales are a bit disappointing, with just the trio of doom and one guest ale, which was an unexciting if reasonably-kept Ghost Ship. Prices are fairly standard Spoons too. Aside from being almost entirely populated by families, the place is not unpleasant and clearly an improvement on what preceded it, but not worth a special trip.
