Steve C left this review about The Mucky Pup

Having been open for less than three months, the Mucky Pup is a new Irish themed pub in, according to the very friendly barman, an old Mexican restaurant. The interior is L-shaped with a bar counter that faces the entrance. There are some booths along the left-hand wall, but the majority of seating is up the right where standard seating, high tables and some more booths are found. In the front right window is a small stage area that is encircled by a waist high exposed brick wall. Live music is advertised for weekends, expect fiddles and other emerald green naughtiness. During my recent Monday evening visit there was some background music playing for the benefit of the handful of single men present, including myself. Food is advertised, but I think my visit was after the kitchen had closed as I didn’t see any menus, and the only smell was that of farts from the old boys. This place is OK for what it is, although I doubt that many are going to make a special trip to sample the premium keg when there is no live entertainment on.
