Steve C left this review about West Didsbury Club

The West Didsbury Club used to be the West Didsbury Conservative Club, but the landlady was keen to let me know that any association is now distant memory. A waist high picket fence runs around picnic tables out the front that were full of twenty-thirty somethings, which I bet is in contrast to this club's heyday. Inside there’s a parquet floored front bar to the left of the entrance where a bar counter supports standard and premium keg, no cask here. There’s a television, and a massive square section of the left hand wall has been painted white, I assumed to act as a permanent projector screen, although all televisual devises were off during my visit. Sky Sports is advertised, in fact this pub advertises itself as a sports bar. In the rear bar are more televisions, a pool table and two full size snooker tables. The likes of UB40 were playing in the background, I imagine that there is a jukebox hiding somewhere. The service was polite, but note that only card payments are accepted.
