All sorts of fun, this. A club down a narrow alley leading to the cut – easy to miss the entrance, a fairly modest doorway. Nobody asked me for a CAMRA card or a retainer, so in I strolled. Inside is an old-skool place with a ‘70s feel. GBG’23 listed, there were five cask with an eclectic mix alongside a couple of ciders. My choice of Green Jack Gone Fishing came off stillage in great form (NBSS 4) served-up by a polite barman. The star is the beer terrace, with a great panorama over the cut to the sea. Plenty of local babble and a pleasant atmosphere – could have happily stayed for more. Really good, best outlet in Lynn by a distance for my money.
