Will Larter left this review about The Junction

A handy pub if you're here for the football at Frickley Athletic, whose ground is only five minutes walk away. This former club still has the look of one, with a couple of large rooms, one with a buffet or carvery counter and a couple of darts boards, another with both snooker and pool tables. A couple of smaller areas for drinkers surround the small bar counter, which has the usual national brands, though unusually the John Smiths was poured from the tap labelled Guinness. I had the Worthington, which was very cold but became tolerable as it warmed slightly. At £2.80 a pint I wasn't going to complain.
