This micro was nicely kitted out with a slightly above average bar area illuminated along the front and back shelving area. Two sets of polished brass beer towers one with six draught taps and the other with four, plus three handpumps. The seating was two rows of bench either down each side of the main windows, along with some upmarket looking bar stools and ceiling lamps. There was also a colourful wall image of their logo Mortal Hound.
Three ales on handpump Anarchy Blonde Star, Jaipur and Vaux Brewery VPA. We went for the Blonde star and Jaipur, both of which were on the turn. The manager told us he doesn't like Cask beer so he wasn't fussed and left the pump clips as they were. It was also disappointing not to see any of their own beers on this visit.

New micropub and taproom for Blockyard Brew Co. The venue is named after one of the brewery's IPAs. Scheduled to open 30.06.23.
