Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Market Tap

Tap Social outlet, only serving craft keg beers, although they do also produce cask ale. Being within an indoor market, you wouldn't expect a whole lot of space (and there isn’t), so there are some seats around the edge shelving and old wooden barrels, plus the larger tables out in the atrium. A quick bit of Time Better Spent (£2.80, half) was all I had time for, before heading to the station.

Komakino . left this review about The Market Tap

A local brewery spreading its wings, with a pub (The White House on Abingdon Road), a tap bar in Banbury, a bakehouse and now this, making a triumvirate of licenced venues in Oxford's Covered Market and next-door-but-one to the bookshop/café Gulp Fiction. Occupying a corner plot, it's open on two sides with a small bar with keg taps against the wall, surrounded by butcher's tiles (this was formerly a butcher's shop). Limited seating within, although there are communal benches outside which can be used. Four TS beers on (Inside Out, Jobsworth, False Economy and Time Better Spent–a fifth, Cell Count, had run out) a collab sour and a cider. Some wine and spirits available plus some of their offerings and crafty interlopers in a thin fridge next to the bar. Pastries, toasties, doughnuts, cakes, sourdough and coffee fresh and available from their bakery daily. Busy on my Saturday afternoon visit with young and old (always a good sign), with the only gripes being a solitary, overworked barman, who, to be fair, was doing a great job, but let down by the sole dependence on him, some dodgy technological connection problems plus an unnecessary and overloud smart speaker pumping out music on the bar itself, making conversation between staff and customer a challenge (why not just turn it down, dear boy?)
