Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Cosy Club

Fairly typical outlet for this expanding chain, albeit in a much older building than most, with a relatively uncluttered bar and also having more of a Loungers vibe in the rear dining area. No real ale unfortunately, and only having a partly duplicated / triplicated selection from a trio of five-tap T-bar founts. That said, it did have the Menabrea from Italy (£6.20) as something less usual.

E TA left this review about Cosy Club

A very ordinary instantiation of this increasingly inaccurately named chain, and following the trend of having no real ale anymore. The restaurant area is upstairs, the main bar area on the ground floor which, on this occasion, was full of students. What it does have is the cellar built to show some of Canterbury’s Roman foundations, so there is an historical aspect to the club, though the customers in the cellar bar when we visited were highly unlikely to have understood the significance. The staff were quite helpful, though it was difficult to determine what to call it/he/she/ as the combination of pendant earrings, skirt, beard and Adam’s apple was a little confusing to those of us born in the previous century. The drinks choice consisted of Punk IPA, Amstel Estrella, Caple Road cider, Moretti and Milk Stout. Take it or leave it, but you know what to expect.
