Now in its new location across the main road and round the corner, it’s much bigger than the old place which is now The Corner House. Comprising three rooms, the counter is in the centre room with seating in all three rooms. The unisex toilet is off the left hand room. Decorated in plain grey and white, it retains board floors. There’s a black board each side of the counter with cask beers on one and the keg listing on the one opposite. There are nine pulls although not all were in use on my visit and fifteen numbered keg taps on the back wall.

The original Pub on Brook Street, now the Corner House, has moved to this much more spacious ex-cafe on Water Street. Three rooms with the middle one having the bar on the back wall. The left hand room has some sofas and some high seating and the right hand one has some bench seating previously in use at the old Pub. Packed on my Friday afternoon visit, but the bar staff were just about coping. There are 6 handpumps with a good mis of beers and styles on the pumps. I ended up having two different beers here as the atmosphere was great. Both of them were in excellent nick. Doubt if we'll ever visit Tod in future without calling in here.

This is a three roomed bar with the bar facing you on entry.Quite smart inside with a mish mash of furniture styles which includes what seems to be a Church pew. There was an excellent selection of ales on show with 9 cask beers on the bar all functioning plus 15 craft keg taps at the rear of the bar. There are blackboards either side of the bar displaying the strengths and prices of the beers.I sampled a cask stout which was in good nick, but did avoid the Tartarus Raspberry Chocolate cake Imperial Stout at 14.5% which was on sale at a mere £21 a pint (Sold at £7 for a third of a pint)
