A combined shop and micro-pub. Offers cask and keg beers, coffee, and cakes. There is a comfortable seating area on the left. The shop portion is on the right. In the centre is the bar and servery. There is additional seating outside. Although the shop opens at 8:00 alcohol isn't served until 11:00. When I visited two cask beers were on offer from Harveys and Bedlam although I understand the beers will change frequently.
A convenient refreshment stop for those walking on the downs and a welcome addition in a beer desert. The number 7 bus stop is nearby.
