A try-hard lefty bar that (P)Rick from the Young Ones would absolutely love. Your favourite cuddly left wing revolutionaries are here adorning the walls along with various flags and red stars hung from the ceiling. Oddly for a lefty bar there wasn’t much on the beer front (Diageo kegs) so a kulak Guinness in a running-dog Carlsberg glass had to suffice. Some colourful characters in situ but the most colourful thing was actually the inside of loos, the bog tiling was genuinely eye-catching. The place grated on me pretty quickly but it serves a niche and it was worth looking-in for something a bit different.
