A Good Beer Guide 2023 entry.

Not quite as much variety as the nearby Samuel Oldknow.

Advertises itself as a Prosecco and Real Ale bar - which may make it unique.

A games room upstairs and I'd love to know how they got the full sized pool table up those stairs.

Two Titanic Porters on - the common Plum and lesser spotted Cherry.

Decent enough place.

A slight kink in the road means that this shop conversion has a broader front than the micropub next door (Samuel Oldknow) but narrows markedly towards the rear, a shape reminiscent of a wedge of cake, or possibly Brie. The bar is at the front on the left, with almost half a dozen hand pumps (see photo) and a slightly larger number of keg fonts. The owner was friendly and efficient, and there were quite a few people in mid-afternoon. The toilets and a further seating area are upstairs, but I advise taking the stairs more carefully than I did if you don't want to bang your head on the way up. There were some quite good local photos, for sale at quite decent prices if you like that sort of thing; the alternatives were snooker on three TVs or just watching the world go by. I went for the latter, and enjoyed my half of Desert Storm, from local Storm Brewery, which was in top condition.
