Blue Scrumpy left this review about FireRock

Brewpub and bar on what appeared to be a rather run-down shopping street in Sutton-in-Ashfield. The place did not seem to be open, as we approached. But we found the door open, with 3 or 4 other customers in.

The front room is divided into 2 or 3 different sections, with the bar to the rear left. A roped off area contained a stage for live music. Beyond the bar is a smaller second room, with significantly less features. The FireRock Brewery itself is found in another room adjoining this one. Toilets are also here.

A board at the side of the bar lists the rather impressive beer selection. I chose the cask ale from FireRock itself. This was a stout called Kill The Ghosts. Two other handpulls are for guests. One had Arbor Blue Sky Drinking, whilst the other one was being pulled through when we arrived, and soon yielded Beer Ink Vellum.

The craft beer selection is wider still - Navigation Gravitational Anomaly, FireRock Space Cowboy, Back To Cali & Treetop Racer, FireRock/Bang The Elephant The Call Of Cthulhu, Three Hills Forbidden Fruit Triple Stone Fruit, Glasshouse Mobius Streak, Overtone Gold Dust & Beavertown Neck Oil.

Real ciders were SeaCider Black Cherry Cider, White Peach Cider, Ginger Bread Cider, Strawberry Cider, Rhubarb Cider & Raspberry Ripple & Lilley's Pina Colada Cider.

A friendly place with a great beer and cider selection that I wouldn't mind returning back to someday.
