Blue Scrumpy left this review about Ralph's Wife's

With the New Fleetwood (previously opposite) having been demolished, Ralph's Wife's is now the only remaining pub in Banks.

Whilst the owner refers to it as a micropub, the busy single room premises had more of a feel of a cafe bar.

The landlord and barmaid had been expecting me, as I'd enquired about opening times in advance of my visit. They were very friendly, chatty and keen to hear about my pub visiting exploits!

The bar has a single square-shaped room, with seating throughout and a couple of stools near the bar. There is an outdoor drinking area at the front, which apparently came in quite useful during the various stages of the recent pandemic.

Southport IPA & Bowland Pheasant Plucker were the 2 real ales. A friendly place that is well worth giving a try.
