Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Surrey Hills Brewery

About the most basic brewery tap I've visited (and very different to the much more upmarket Denbies winery facilities taking up most of the complex), with picnic chairs and 'tables' formed from piles of wooden pallets. Beers are ordered from the little office just inside the entrance, and come directly from casks in the storeroom. The brewing kit takes up most of the compact building, with just enough floorspace for a few seats to be brought inside in the case of rain. The four beers available during our visit were the biggest selling Shere Drop plus Ranmore, Greensand IPA, Gilt Complex and Collusion collaboration with the Cobbetts micro-pub in town - all just £3.50, and the four we tried were in absolutely splendid condition.

Hardly a glamour location – you’re basically sat outside on some benches in a tarmacked area, whilst the servery is just inside the delivery entrance via a trestle table and plastic glasses. However, the upsides are that this is one of the UK’s finest cask breweries and that the beers on offer (Greensand/Shere Drop/Ranmore as regulars with a seasonal of Gilt Complex on my visit) are direct from barrel and are also in A1 condition. Beware the left hand portaloo which has a habit of locking-in the occasional unlucky occupant. Not really a place I can score given how it operates at present. Presumably post-plague you might be able to sit indoors?
