Paid a couple of visits to the relatively new H Taphouse. There are two taps reserved for real ale but on both my visits only one was available - not sure if these are via KeyKeg as they are served from the back wall and the hand pulls seem to be just for display. On both occasions the real ales have been fine. Quite a few keg taps (possibly 8 or so) serving mainly craft beers though all around the 4-5% mark and in my experience usually pale ales or IPAs. Some darker and/or stronger beers would increase the appeal for me, but perhaps the people of Culcheth are not ready for that kind of filth yet.

Dogs and children are apparently welcome.

A nice enough place but the seating felt a little cramped but probably not much more can be done with the space available.
