Graham Coombs left this review about Hideaway

A quite excellent shed, or rather a collection of sheds, located on the cliff top path (no road access). The main room is a symphony in wood inside, with an eclectic collection of decorations and windows looking out over the bay. Adjoining sheds house the kitchen and storeroom. Outside is a wooden shelter with a couple of tables, used to house a band on Sunday afternoons. Then a smaller shed with a hatch, serving drinks to the motley collection of wooden furniture, ranging from the ramshackle to new picnic benches. At first glance the place looks like some sort of hippy camp, but it is actually a very cute and cosy eating and drinking establishment. And as to the beer - three different ales from the Island Brewery and Exmoor Fox, presumably as guest, straight from the barrel and in excellent condition. Well worth the walk up from town (or from the bus stop on the main road to avoid the hill!). Not large so booking recommended at busy times if eating. Parking nearby can be tricky but there is a paying car park at the end of the esplanade.
