Soup Dragon left this review about Jack 'Jigger' Taylor

A new free-house that has opened on Brownhills High Street, named after a local miner killed in an accident in 1951, that has a rear patio area. It was formerly a Midland Bank and the exterior reflects that austere 60s kind of look, although much softer now. The interior has an irregular open plan space that has a Spoons feel, with old local pictures on the walls and a few fireplace features. TVs, with sport, are numerous although the sound is soft so you can hear it just - along with the soft music playing. Service was very friendly and a mixed crowd were in. Beer has some craft and decent lagers, with three handpulls that were Hobgoblin Gold, Wainwright and Courage Directors (which was fine). An addition to what was a bleak scene in Brownhills; dont confuse it, however, with the Jiggers Whistle, the micropub, up the road.
