There is a driveway off the Walworth Road with this bar doubling as the check in desk for the Safestay hostel.There are pic nic benches outside and a large room inside with a mix of furniture,sofas along the front window,a cafe feel behind the central servery and a pool table to the side.
There were a huge amount of young people just lounging about inside,some in a zombie state others using the wifi to use laptops,ipads and phones to keep themselves amused.
The servery offers 4 kegs,mainstream with the best option Blue Moon Belgian White at £3 the half.You can order food here or pick up croisants and other hostel snacks.
I was roughly 3 times the average age of the punters inside and was getting curious glances,so I drank up quickly as I was clearly bad for business.
I wont be hurrying back.Note Whatpub hours are very wrong ,it was open at 1pm on a Saturday.
