Much as Graham describes below, except that there are now a couple of tables not laid up, including some central high ones, left for drinkers.  The barmaid was quite cheerful and made us feel welcome, and it was relatively quiet and convivial.  No real ale, and no RAIB.  Camden Helles was about the best craft offering, plus there was Brewdog Lost and Punk IPA in bottles, although these were hideously over-priced.  There are better bars and better eateries nearby.

Modern steak restaurant beneath the Premier Inn; slightly dark but fairly swish interior with a good bar counter, but drinkers are consigned to laid-up tables. Half a dozen average Eurofizz on tap.
