Cafe bar overlooking Alnwick's market place. It was quite warm on the day of my visit and all of the other customers were taking advantage of the weather and were sat outside.
The bar featured in the 2023 Good Beer Guide, but ironically no longer serves real ale. Instead, there were a couple of craft beers - Flying Gang Spanish Gold & Full Circle Capital 5. Not really my cup of tea.

Small and reasonably atmospheric bar in shop conversion with a few tables and a sofa. It has a hefty wine, spirit, cocktail and coffee offering plus loud music, but does however have 4 handpumps with a fair selection of ales: on this visit two from Allendale, one from Anarchy and one from First & Last,which seemed in good order. There is a selection of keg craft also. Outside the pavement tables in the market place seemed popular. I will add a bonus point for the beer but it didn't feel quite right somehow.
