Old Boots left this review about Amity Brewpub

A cut above some brewery taps, not a high bar of course but this one is set up quite well. Located in an old mill complex, Sunny Bank Mills, it was much easier to find than I thought it might be. It’s a small building within the series of much bigger mill buildings and well signed outside. Once through the door you are in an avenue of fermentation and brewing vessels with tables down the centre. Up a few steps at the end and you reach the main bar, counter to your right and a mix of old school room type chairs at round tables, low sofas and taller tables and stools. The counter is all tiled as is the bar back, blackboards above list 10 different Amity or Amity co-lab beers on draught, there are fridges to the side with bottles and cans from various sources and a single cask served by a boil in the bag system. There’s an outside area beyond the main bar. Exposed brick and roof timbers with a modern laminate floor characterise the interior. Standard craft brewery tap type punters, possibly even more middle class than usual, with their brats who of course are not misbehaving but suffering from some made up disorder or other, thankfully they buggered off later. Pass the quinoa Tarquin.
