A revisit to this newish pub now that we are sans restrictions. Was meant to be a cask stop off between two craft pubs on today's agenda, but there's only Youngs Ordinary on. I can get that any day of the week at my local, so opted for a bottle of the Special at a punchy 6.4%. Peroni, Morreti, Camden and Beavertown on draft, along with a couple of ciders. Nice well kept laid back place to have a beer

Brand new pub in what was an d department store. A modern Youngs house focussed on food. Two cask ales available Youngs Ordinary (in good condition) and a local Farr Brew beer. Bottles and crafty stuff also on offer. Can't comment on interior at present as only outside service - in a rather bleak alleyway - is available. Clearly there are better ale pubs in St Albans but I'd come here again for a pint and a look inside.
