Industry is a long and thin open plan bar and pizza restaurant. The bar counter runs along the rear wall facing seating that runs the length of the bar overlooked by the floor to ceiling front windows. The bar counter supports premium keg alongside Beavertown’s Neck Oil. To the left of the bar is a small open kitchen with pizza oven. The service was polite, as was the bouncer during my early Saturday evening visit. There was some background music, mostly from the 90s, but it wasn’t loud enough to drown out the din of the trams as they passed by. If I ever find myself in Droylsden again I’ll be sure to pop back in here for a pizza, but I won’t be returning just for a beer.

Opened in 2020 in a former branch of Lloyds TSB bank, this is a totally unremarkable place from the outside. Inside it's rather better with an industrial feel like many new bars at the moment. Various types of tables and chairs all around the place. Foodwise they specialise in pizza and charcuterie. On the drinks front they specialise in fizzy things, no real ale sadly. It was OK for one, but I'm not in any hurry to return.
