Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Northgate

Upmarket hotel, restaurant and bar in a three-storey building set back and above from the road. All smartly furnished and decorated, but the split-level, part-patio / part-grassed beer garden at the back is very well done. No real ale unfortunately, and just three keg beers from semi-anonymous taps on the bar-back: Peroni, Pilsner Urquell and an un-named Meantime beer (£4.60).
