Rob Hunter left this review about Craft Beer Oasis

Visited back in August this year. Three hand pulls for cask but sadly none in operation; 20 keg taps and most of these were on, with a varied selection of beers from the boring to the interesting. Looks like it may also sell bottles to take away, judging by the window display. There is a TV above the bar showing a beer menu but this was flashing on and off repeatedly - thankfully there was a printed version of the menu on the bar.

The inside is mainly bare brick with industrial style dark grey painted walls and ceiling. A breeze block wall was painted white. A wall made of corrugated tin sheeting sectioned off an area for the gents' toilets. The gents' were OK but sloppily decorated with white paint splashed onto the metal trough style urinal. There is no separate door to the cubicle and the sit-down toilet is right next to the sink. There were pubes in the urinal despite the fact I was the only customer in there and probably the only customer since opening, which makes me wonder how thorough the cleaning regime is.

There is an upstairs area, but that was fenced off. There is a dusty piano tucked away under the stairs with some board games on top. Presumably the piano sees little to no use as there is a supporting pillar right in front of it so you'd have to be pretty slim to get in and play a tune.

As already alluded to, I was the only customer in on my weekday evening visit - the place was dead and there was no music to try and create a bit of atmosphere. It probably suffers a bit due to its location but perhaps it gets busy at weekends.

Despite the large beer selection, I couldn't with good conscience recommend this place with a rating higher than 6. It felt like it was on its arse a bit and I was pleased to sup up and get out.
