Colin Walker left this review about The Murray

The Murray Bar sits at the end of a row of shops on the Murray Road in the first new town development in the area of East Kilbride. The choice of beers available are Fosters, Tennents, Carling, John Smiths, Strongbow original & dark fruits, Guinness, Worthington’s Creamflow which is the third highest selling ale in the United Kingdom. A very much a local’s bar with a Darts league on a Monday, Pool league on a Tuesday, Karaoke on a Saturday & Quiz night on a Sunday. Sky sports is shown on the 7 televisions that I could see. There is no beer garden, but there is an outside area where seating is available. There is a large function suite that is free to hire (With a refundable deposit), that holds up to 100 guests. The place is open Mon 12:00 - 00:00, Tue to Thurs 13:00 - 00:00, Fri 12:00 - 00:00, Sat 11:00 - 01:00 & Sun 12:00 - 00:00. There is limited parking in front of the shops, at the rear & to the left of the pub.
