Crafty micro by the station. Quite well done, a bit more upmarket than the average; dark walls, white ceiling – a bit of a teenage boy’s bedroom feel. Six Nations on the box. Ten keg, Verdant and Flint predominated on my visit; I went for the Glasshouse Bitmap which was a fair drop, served by a friendly young barman. Fridge has a leftfield flavour selection (I decided to grab a couple to take away) and there's four boxed ciders in the cool room. Decent effort, not too pretentious.

Small rectangular micro with only keg beers on.I was the only customer on an afternoon visit but the welcome was pretty lukewarm.Decent enough beer list.Reasonably priced beer .Some outside seating.

We'd spotted this new bottle shop and taproom when last in Croxley Green, on our way to Vicarage Road. We didn't really have time to stop. So, we walked on by.

With one of my friends relying on their deliveries during lockdown, we made a point of paying a visit, once it was fully re-opened.

Booking are essential. So, I had been working to a timetable all day. Nevertheless, we were the only ones in.

All of the beers are keg-dispensed. But there are a good number of real ciders - Seacider Sticky Toffee Pudding, Bourbon Barrel-Aged, White Peach & Raspberry Ripple, Lilley's Mango, Rhubarb & Rum Ciders & Sandford Orchards Devon Scrumpy. Craft options were from Verdant, Brick, Peckham, Howling Hops & Mad Squirrel.

There was also a good selection of bottles and cans in the fridges, whilst I enjoyed my Scotch Egg so much, I ordered a second one!

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. A really good addition to this corner of Hertfordshire.
