The Whitegate Inn is a beefeater located adjacent to Oldham Broadway Premier Inn, although the customers enduring the loud background music on a recent Monday afternoon seemed to be locals rather than hotel guests. The sprawling interior consists of a central bar counter that faces bar seating towards the front entrance. The rest of the pub up the left and right-hand walls and at the rear is geared towards dining. Standard and premium keg was available, although the service was painfully slow. I was glad to move on.

The only place that Whitegate Inn is mentioned outside is just over the front door. All the rest of the signage just says Beefeater.
The right hand side is supposed to be the restaurant and the left hand side the pub, but to be honest they both look the same. Two sides of a large, featureless barn.
WhatPub says that two handpumps are to be installed, well if they ever were they've gone now.
I had a quick half of overpriced fizz and moved on. It's appalling, I pity you if this is your local.
