Checking my old review - no sign of the on site brewery. Maybe I should have asked the landlord.

Entertainment goes from strength to strength - quiz on wednesday, comedy on thursday and live music across the weekend.

Beers always changing.

A rather good shop conversion micro, bigger than many but still long and thin. A wider area at the front is equipped with tables and chairs, a pew and a taller table. Further back the counter takes up the left hand side with more tables and chairs arranged cafe style down the right hand wall, with sofas at the back. There’s a piano and a tall table by the counter end with stools there and along the counter. The music was of similar vintage to the punters. Six hand pumps and a couple of T-bars of craft keg and a Thatchers solo. Beers from Beowulf, Flashback and Salopian with two more to come on later. More interesting and humorous decor than many micros, a skeleton, skulls, tribal artifacts, a print of Gin Lane but no Beer Street. Gig posters and a mad collection of photos and LED stuffed spirit bottles complete the ambiance. Friendly and with some interesting, in a good way, customers.

A great micro in a shop conversion but with a spacious feel and a very friendly welcome. There is a large bar to the left, interesting art on the walls and plenty of traditional furniture.Five real ale on during my visit Brew 61 Grazing Girls,Thornbridge Market Porter,Kinver Diamond Head's Brian Tattler Am I Evil ,Fixed Wheel Bear & Wolf and Cloudwater Centennial in your Heart (NBSS 4,unusual to see this brewery output on cask )
I really enjoyed it,the ale choice was interesting and this would be my first port of call in Kiddy.I too will be back,it fully deserves its GBG 2023 listing and local CAMRA award.

Great little micro. I'm in full agreement with Ray about the pub scene in Kiddy - well worth a visit. 5 beers on when I called - Fownes Keeper Of Secrets, Vocation Heart And Soul, Bristol Beer Factory Fortitude, Wander Beyond Brewing Wolfsbane and Fixed Wheel Bear & Wolf. I had to go for the Fixed Wheel as its one of my local breweries. I'll be back...

A good sized micro pub with an excellent choice of beers. The barman was very welcoming and very knowledgeable about his beers. Six ales on handpump, Hobson's Town Crier, Vocation Hawking, Malvern Hills Black Pear, Bristol Beer Factory Milk Stout, Church End Goat's Milk and Fownes At the Gates of Dawn. I initially went for the Milk Stout which was outstanding, followed by Church End. Kidderminster is becoming a micro pub haven and this new addition is another good pub to visit.

Delighted to see this in the Good Beer Guide 2022.

Shop conversion. The front is more or less complete now - with high tables in the window, leading to comfy chesterfields at the end. The trip to the loos does show the incompletion of the renovation.

They have big plans and at the end of 2022 are about to open their own brewery upstairs. That's going to be an interesting addition - at least they will have gravity on their side to dispense the beer.

Beers currently on are a fine balance between traditional and craft - they usually have 4-5 hand cask handpulls - with Church End Goats Milk the most frequest seen. Often some surprising additions, like Ma Pardoes Bumblehole - which I've only ever seen at Ma Pardoes :-)

Craft - usually have something from Deya (Steady Rolling man on last couple of visits) and other popular keg.

Very knowledgeable staff and a good atmosphere - with live music, open mic nights etc.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bear & Wolf

New micro-pub in an undistinguished converted shop, with limited decoration and no seating at the front which gives the place a slightly half-finished feel (which a trip out back to the toilets will confirm). Good selection of real ales from the six handpumps, though, with two Church End beers, Barking Mad from Froth Blowers (£3.20) and others from Salopian, Ludlow and Fownes.
