The endeavour is a small local’s boozer that was populated with an older local crowd during my recent midweek visit. To the left of the bar are a pool table and two dartboards and the toilets can be found to the right of the bar. Live entertainment is advertised for the weekends and there is a meat raffle every Sunday. The décor is traditional and there are lots of knickknacks hanging from the walls and ceiling. The bar is stocked with standard draught alongside Sharp’s Doom Bar and Red Rock Brewery’s Red Rock. I found the service to be polite, but there were a couple of suspicious locals who made me feel a little uncomfortable as I explored their pub.
I enjoyed the sixties music, but I left this pub with mixed feelings so I will try it again if I ever revisit Teignmouth.
