A Marstons new-build family eatery and one of the more oddball GBG’22 entries. Interior’s not bad; exposed brick, banquettes, chunky wood furniture. Started to fall apart with the TVs as they were showing different channels but not, for some reason, the rugby, so the lads have it on their phone whilst some wittering banality choice modern music parped away in conjunction. Three cask from the Marston stable, the Pedigree was a watery toffee mess (NBSS 2) served-up in a shitey test tube glass of a half by a barman who admitted he was hungover – he certainly looked it. All fur coat and no knickers, this one.
